Settling down. Getting hitched. Tying the knot. However you opt to declare it, getting married is a big deal – a wickedly awesome, fun-filled, smushy big deal. It will undoubtedly be a day filled with countless once-in-a-lifetime moments. Some moments you may see coming – the exchange of rings, your first kiss, your first dance. Other moments may take you by suprise – those tiny fleeting interactions that come and go like Dust in the Wind. Those are my favorite. For me and my wife it was when the rainy windstorm forced the party to run inside and we ended up dancing together in a bay window. Totally beautifully-organic wedding magic.

My goal as a photographer is to tell the story of your wedding day. I try my darndest to capture emotion and energy in every shot. My hope is that, 20 or 30 years from now, when you open your wedding album, you will remember it like it was yesterday.

Am I the right photographer for you?
Trust your gut. Chances are, if you like the feel of most of the photos in my portfolio, you can expect similar photos for your own wedding. Look at overall composition first and tone and coloring second. Processing can always be adjusted based on what your prefer.
Photography is complex stuff: focus, exposure, aperture, speed, white balance, lighting, angle, composition, etc. When that first wonderful kiss happens OR when the music screeches to a halt and a flash mob forms dancing in perfect synchronization to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” (true story), you want a wedding photographer who will be there with you every step of the way.
Photos always come out way better when everyone involved feels comfortable and relaxed. If you can imagine hanging out with me for a long, potentially emotionally-filled day, we should be good to go. My favorite way to test this is over coffee or happy hour.
Obviously this is a factor for everybody. I do my best to keep rates as low as I can, while considering the work and resources I put into it. When comparing with other photographers, beware of any hidden fees that may be involved. See my standard packages below. Custom pricing is also available.

Printing & Albums

With the surge in popularity of self-publishing sites, I have found most couples enjoy building their own albums and printing their own photos. I am always happy to recommend the sites with which I have had the best experience. If you would like printing services added to a package, please include that request in your email.
